What is the Bloggers Helping Bloggers Charity?

Every year, the Boobie-Thon chooses a charity or blogger in need to be the recipient of the Bloggers Helping Bloggers portion of our event.  The Bloggers Helping Bloggers started with the very first Boobie-Thon - before it was even called the Boobie-Thon - Boobies To Florida Campaign was created to help out a friend who was going to be alone for the holidays.  Instead of spending Thanksgiving alone, The Boobies To Florida Campaign was created to cover the cost of the plane ticket for one friend to visit another friend.  When more money was raised than what was needed for the plane ticket, it was decided that everything over the $359.00 for the plane ticket be donated to Komen. 

When asked if there would be a Boobie-Thon II, Robyn made it clear that the only way that would happen is if the event continued to retain the original spirit of the first Boobiethon.  Bloggers for charity and Bloggers helping their own!  And that’s exactly what the Bloggers Helping Bloggers charity is all about.
