Everyone needs to give up some mad love for Lisa this year! She handled ALL photo submissions (regular, pay, you name it) by herself — for the ten days of the 2004 event, and the days prior to launch, so the site would already be full of pics when traffic started to roll in at midnight on October 1st. She has worked 'round the clock in Photoshop, Movable Type, and Gmail and it shows. This year has topped last year's total take by over $1600 — and this year's event was 24 hours shorter due to the weekend calendar. I did photos and donations by myself for the 'Thon's first two years (2002*, 2003) but there is absolutely no way I could have done it all on my own this year!

Which leads me to...many, many thanks also go out to our donation coordinators (Jennifer, Sonia, and Amanda) and press coordinator (Stacy). This year's event would not have been possible without each and every one of them. So stop by their blogs and tell them thanks! They deserve the pat on the back!
