An annual charity event!
The Blogger Boobie-Thon is an annual event run the first week of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Bloggers from all over the globe send in photos of their boobies (covered and uncovered) to help raise money for Breast Cancer Research. This is the sixth year for the Boobie-Thon and our goal is to break the $10,000.00 mark. In the past 5 years, Robyn, the original founder of the Blogger Boobie-Thon has raised over $35,000 to date.
In June of 2007, Robyn put the Boobie-Thon up for adoption. A short time later, the torched was passed and Melissa (Mel) stepped in as the new Boobie-Thon coordinator.
The 2007 event kicks off on Monday October 1, 2007 and will run for one full week, ending at 11:59 pm on Monday October 8, 2007. Just as we have done in the past, the first $359.00 raised will go towards the Bloggers-Helping-Bloggers portion of the event. All remaining money will go to Komen.
